Feel the Love

The new Spring Catalog went live yesterday and I'm feeling the Love!

I'm looking forward to my upcoming Valentines Card Class in a couple of weeks and this is a preview of one of the cards we will be making.  I combined some of my favorite products from the main catalog and idea book with one of my favorite products in the Spring Catalog :  The Hearts a Flutter Bundle!

This bundle can be found on page 11.

The Bundle combines the fabulous
Hearts a Flutter stamp set (Clear: # 129252 $ 18.95/ Wood: #129249 $25.95 )
with the Hearts a Flutter Framelit Dies ( #130159 $24.95).
When you buy the bundle, you will save 15%!!!!  How awesome is that?!
The bundles are  available as: Clear Mount #131097 $36.95 or Wood Mount #131098 $42.95.

I used Whisper White card stock for my card base and I embossed strips of Real Red with my
Square Lattice Embossing Folder (IB # 119976 $7.95) and my Big Shot (IB pg 186).

I tied a length of Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon (IB #119251 $5.95) around the card front and tied a simple knot.  Then I added jewelry tags punched with my Jewelry Tag Punch (IB pg 183 #117190 #12.95) in Red Glimmer Paper (IB pg 160 #121790 $4.95/2 12x12 sheets) and whisper white stamped with Black Stazon with the Tiny Tags stamp set (IB pg 124 Clear: #118592 $16.95/Wood: #118091 $22.95).  I tied those on with a length of White Bakers Twine (IB pg172 #124262 $2.95).

The edge of my card front was cut with the Large Scallop Edgelit (IB pg 190 #127019 $7.95)
and embossed with the Hearts Folder from the
Adorning Accents Embossing Folders (IB pg 188 #125601 $8.95/set of 3).

My stamped "flag" images come from the Hearts a Flutter Bundle.
I stamped them on Whisper White Cardstock and cut them out with the coordinating Framelit Die.
I spaced them equally on the front and adhered them with snail adhesive.

This card was super quick and easy to do but you would never know that to look at it.
Another reason why I love the coordinating products our catalogs are full of!

My inside was finished off with a quick stamped "Be my Valentine" in Real Red using a sentiment from Delightful Dozen (IB pg 140 Clear #122652 $24.95/Wood: 122650 $32.95).

I hope this card has you "Feeling the Love" too!
