Going Global: I'm Lost Without You

Hello!
Today I am playing along with the latest challenge over at Create With Connie and Mary.

They have a sketch challenge this week and I immediately knew which products I wanted to play with!
I love when it comes together that easily!

Here is their sketch.

All of the products I used today came from the Going Places Collection in the Occasions Catalog (pages 38-39).

I kept it simple with a Basic Black and Very Vanilla color scheme which I drew from my two designer papers.

I tried to keep it relatively "flat" for mailing ( I have someone in mind for this card, grin ) however, I think I large pearl, right in the center of the compass, would really finish this card off perfectly!  Or maybe just fill the center with a pool of Crystal Effects... I'll have to wait and see.

What do you think?  Pearl? Crystal Effects?  Leave it alone?
I'd love to hear your opinions :)

I hope you enjoy today's card and that I have inspired you to try it for yourself! I've posted my printable supply list for you below.
Don't forget, when your order reaches $50, you will earn an exclusive Sale-a-bration item, the Sky Is The Limit stamp set would pair wonderfully with this collection, for FREE!

  1. I think it might look kinda cool with Crystal Effects in the center of the compass. I really like the look of this card in black and white! Thanks for playing along with us at Create with Connie and Mary!

  2. What a great masculine card - I love the texture added by the embossing and the compass is really eye-catching. I agree with Jenny - Crystal Effects would look really neat in the compass centre, or even an epoxy sticker maybe? Thanks for joining us over at Create With Connie and Mary this week!

  5. I love all of the detail here! So much texture and pattern and your simple color pallet ties it all together. I think it would be fine as is or with Crystal Effects. ;) Thanks for playing along this week at Create with Connie and Mary!
