We just returned from a three day weekend of CPE Agility in Deerfield,NH. It was over 90 degrees on Friday and pretty warm on Saturday and Sunday as well with lots of bright sunshine! Midge was her usual crazy self. Would not wait at the start line so I was racing all weekend to catch up and be able to handle her around the course. It really makes my blood boil when she won't wait for me to get a lead-out! We will be working on our Start Line and I will need to accept the fact that, if she breaks, I have to pull her off the course. It can end up costing me the run anyway, may as well teach her something for the entry fee instead of simply throwing it away! Here is our very last run of the weekend. Run #13. I didn't bother even trying to lead-out. I'm lucky she stayed put long enough for me to be able to stand next to her and take a deep breath before we took off! It was nice to end on a high note - with a nice 1st Place Qualifying score - on a tough Level 5 Jumpers course - with both of us grinning ear to ear!

I have had these image panels sitting on my table for months! I know I made them for something specific but I just can't remember what! Oh well. I found inspiration in the sketch I used for The Paper Players challenge - these panels were perfect for that sketch! I think I prefer the one with the Peach Parfait Card Stock and Ribbon - which do you like better?

Clean and Simple in Red,White and Blue
Better late than never I guess. I discovered a new challenge blog cas-ual fridays and decided to give their Polka Dot challenge a go. I was already too late to play with Pals Paper Art's Red,White and Blue challenge Here but I wanted to challenge myself to use those colors anyway. I went outside of the 4th of July box and went Floral. I wanted to play with my "new to me" Dot,Dot,Dot stamp from Stampin' Up I thought it would pair perfectly with my Blossom Punch. What do you think? The funny part is that I didn't read the date of the Polka Dot Challenge and I missed the deadline :) Oh well, I got a nice card out of it anyway!
Stamps: Mixed Bunch, Dot Dot Dot
CS: Whisper White, Garden Green
Ink: Real Red, Night of Navy
Misc: Red Satin Ribbon, Polka Dot EF, Blossom Punch, Bird Punch

The Paper Players 100th Challenge
This week, the challenge is to pick from all of their past challenges. I chose a Color challenge and a Sketch Challenge. The Color challenge I chose highlighted 2 Stampin' Up! colors I had never used: Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party. At first they said "floral" to me but they are a little pale so went with "the sea" instead. This is my first time "Playing with the Players" and it was a lot of fun! Here are the challenges I chose:
and here is my card:

Ink: Black Stazon, Wisteria Wonder, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz and touch of Daffodil Delight for the Lighthouse Light (can't not have the light on!)
