Bloom with Hope meets Blendabilities

Yesterday, I had a chance
to play with my latest Blendabilities.
I am pretty happy with how my coloring came out.
I am new to alcohol markers, they are a bit of
a challenge, but I am enjoying them.

This card is a mix of Old and New...
sort of a "throw-back Thursday" card :)

I chose to color images from the Hostess Set
Bloom with Hope.
What can I say, it was already out my table :)

I colored the flower
with my Pink Pirouette and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities markers then fussy-cut it.
The leaves are stamped directly onto
the Deco Label die cut
and colored with Wild Wasabi Blendies.

Blooming with Inspiration

Today's card was inspired by a card
submitted by WendyAnn
for our Simply Stamp It Facebook Group
color challenge yesterday.

It was one of those moments
where I had to drop everything
and CASE that card!
I actually love those moments.
The excitement and strike of inspiration!

I changed the colors
so my card has a different "feel" than hers.
Mine is softer and hers is more striking.

Cheers for Simply Stamp It Challenge #2

has launched and we are on Challenge #2:
Create a project using
Baked Brown Sugar, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla.

I instantly knew what I was going to create!
I had a brainstorm idea
when I was over at this month's
(I am on the current Creative Crew
and wish I had thought of this sooner!)
I will be posting this card there as well.

The new Fringe Scissors help you create
an awesome Tiki Hut, don't you think?
