Cards: Fresh Florals One Sheet Wonder

I'm bringing my Super Simple Sunday Series Back!

I've missed it!
Do you ever feel like card making has become too complicated? Or sat down to create, only to find yourself overwhelmed and spending your time looking at what everyone else has created and creating nothing yourself?

Well, that is what prompted me to create these cards.

I cut up one whole sheet of Designer Series Paper, grabbed the coordinating card stock, ink, Ribbon, and stamp set (Floral Phrases) and some Whisper White (for the inside liner of my card) and forced myself to only use those supplies. Well, I also grabbed the "Thank You" from Petal Palette because it was sitting there and it fit on my WW scraps ;)

And, you know what happened? I was able to whip up 6 cards and I love them! They are probably the quickest cards I've ever made, and I really, truly love them! So much so, that I applied the same philosophy to 2 more sheets of completely different Designer Series Papers - and I love those too!

I am definitely going to do a video on these because I am that excited about my results! So stay tuned! Want more Super Simple ideas?

This week I am playing with the Petal Passion Suite (Occasions Catalog pages 22-24).

I kept this card pretty simple. Well, with the exception of the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon Bow (retired) - which is covering an Oops.

Card: Party Pandas Birthday Note

I'm addicted to creating super cute note cards with the new Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes.

Today, I've started using some of my stash of retired Designer Series Papers and paired this fun print with the Sale-A-Bration exclusive Party Pandas stamp set (free with a $50 order from my Online Store).

Instead of the stamped balloon however, I punched a coordinating balloon with my Balloon Bouquet punch. I've suggested some alternate Designer Series Papers below.

I also created a coordinating envelope with the Lots To Love Box Framelits Die. It makes a super quick envelope perfectly fitted to the note cards. After all, the box is intended for holding a stack of these note cards with their envelopes. We will be creating this cute little pair Thursday during my Live at 5 Card Class (5pm EST on my Facebook Page). Be sure to tune in to see how to create the envelope and see how I stamped the inside of my card! You won't want to miss it!

Petal Palette Class To Go

Introducing my February Class To Go featuring the Petal Palette stamp set, Petal Passion Designer Series Paper, New Narrow Note Cards and the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies.

There are three options for this Class To Go:

Option 1:
Petal Palette Clear Mount Stamp Set and all of the materials needed to complete the 5 projects.
You will receive your very own Petal Palette Clear Mount Stamp Set, one die-cut box (assembly required), 4 Narrow Note Cards with Envelopes, and all of the pre-cut/die-cut Petal Passion Designer Series Paper, Whisper White Card Stock, Basic Black Card Stock, and lengths of Basic Black Bakers Twine necessary to complete your projects. You will need to supply your own Archival Black Ink, Clear Blocks, and Adhesives.
Cost: $45.00 + $6.95 priority mailing charge
Payable by Check or Money Order. Contact Me for a mailing address. Your stamp set will be ordered once your check has cleared and your kit will be mailed to you once I receive your stamp set. A tracking number will be sent to you once your kit ships.

Option 2:
Petal Palette Wood Mount Stamp Set and all of the materials needed to complete the 5 projects.
You will receive your very own Petal Palette Wood Mount Stamp Set, one die-cut box (assembly required), 4 Narrow Note Cards with Envelopes, and all of the pre-cut/die-cut Petal Passion Designer Series Paper, Whisper White Card Stock, Basic Black Card Stock, and lengths of Basic Black Bakers Twine necessary to complete your projects. You will need to supply your own Archival Black Ink and Adhesives.
Cost: $60.00 + $10.00 priority mailing charge
