February 2020 Team Blog Hop - Celebrate With Sale-a-bration



Hello, Welcome to our Team Blog Hop!
Today, we are hopping our way through some fabulous projects featuring Sale-a-bration items – all of which are available for Free with qualifying purchases.  
My card follows a One Sheet Wonder, and Card Sketch, both of which I designed, and features the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I LOVE this paper! It coordinates with the Honey Bee Bundle from the current Mini Catalog. But, you do not “need” that bundle to create fabulous projects. The DSP can be the star of the show with just a sentiment.  I stamped my bees, colored them with Stampin' Blends and cut them out with the coordinating die cut.  However, you could just as easily substitute the bees from the DSP.  Fussy-Cut them out or use the coordinating dies.  Easy Peasy!

Tuesday Tutorial: SITS Be Bold Card


Hello Everyone!

Today, we are playing with the Dressed To Impress Bundle from the current Mini Catalog. Outside of the fashion accessories, have you noticed the pretty flower images included in this suite? A Nice Cuppa Tea Together Cards





Remember the stamp set “A Nice Cuppa” and it’s coordinating Cups & Kettle Framelits? I took them out yesterday and gave them a modern twist with Purple Posy and the Best Dressed DSP. I told you, these subtle pastel colors are growing on me! I’m going “soft”, LOL.
I then CASE’d myself and created the “Modern” version using the Tea Together stamp set and coordinating Tea Time Dies from the Annual Catalog. Same layout, colors, DSP… just updated. If I were to make these cards again, I would stamp the Tea Together images in Mint Macaron instead of the black. I would also sponge around the edges of the die-cut Cups & Kettles in the first card, with Mint Macaron or Purple Posy, to make them “pop” a little more.
