Sweet Citrus Taco Fiesta Card

Hello my Stampin' Friends, Today, I am sharing a bright & fun card I created pairing the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder  with the Taco Fiesta Stamp Set. Yes, I know, both of these are retired. However, I bet you have them in your collection. I pulled this stamp set out and realized I had never used it. I sat down and stamped and colored a whole bunch of the images  so I could be ready when the inspiration hit. This is the first card I created.

Isn't it cute?!

I stamped a taco on the inside and added a strip of coordinating DSP.

I had an "oops" when some coloring bled 

so I covered it with a Lime slice.

There's always a way to cover your oopses.

January 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kisses & Hugs: A Very Vanilla & Gold Alternative

Hello my Stampin' Friends, Today, I am sharing another Paper Pumpkin Alternative from the  Love-Themed January 2022 Kit: Kisses & Hugs.   This one was inspired by a card by Dawn Olchefske that I found on Pinterest.  Her card used a Crumb Cake card base and did not have the embossed layer so there is where my own "spin" comes in.   I wanted a cleaner look so I went with the Very Vanilla card base.   I already had the Bouquet Of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder out for this card so I added an embossed strip to the binding.  I just love how this Love card came out.

I coordinated the inside of the card and the envelope. It really does make a huge a difference when you do this. I always say: Never mail a naked envelope ;) To create this card yourself,  I have provided a Supply List below:

Kisses & Hugs Paper Pumpkin Alternative with Forever & Always Bundle

Hello my Stampin' Friends, Once again, one of my main goals for the new year is to Collect Less Create More Honestly, I know am not alone when I say that I find myself ordering  "all the fabulous new stuff" only to have it sit on the shelf for... a year... maybe longer.  As exciting and fun as it is to "collect" I find myself getting very depressed when I realize how much I have that I've never created with!  Are you with me on this? With that "goal" in mind, and Valentine's Day fast approaching,  I dug out one of my favorite Love-Themed Paper Pumpkin kits:  January 2022's Kisses & Hugs.   Do you still have pieces of this kit leftover? I have TONS!   It was such an amazing kit!!! This card only uses ONE of the card-base hearts from the kit  one Vellum heart, and a tiny bit cut from an envelope. I cannot begin to tell you how pretty this is in person. I created a book-binding card base with some Blushing Bride cardstock (retired).  I used the Bouquet Of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder to emboss one of hearts from the kit.  I used the coordinating die to cut a window from the center.  I added one of the vellum hearts, from the kit, behind the window.  I then embossed a strip of cardstock for the binding to coordinate with my embossed heart. I used the same heart die to cut a piece from one of the envelopes that was included with the kit.  The Gold inlay is too pretty to waste on an envelope - don't you think?  I added this to my card base so it would peek through the window.  Over this, I added a Gold Foil "Love" cut with one of the Always Dies (retired) and a stamped "You More" from the Forever & Always stamp set (retired).  Wild Wheat ink looks pretty close to gold.  Amazing! The inside panel has a strip of embossing to the left and I stamped a Wild Wheat Heart and a Blushing Bride Heart in the lower right corner.  I repeated this on an envelope so it all coordinates. I really hope you can tell how pretty this card is! Sweet Thank You CASE Card

Hello my Stampin' Friends, Today, I would like to share a card that I CASE'd - originally created by fellow Demonstrator Ronda Wade.  I love the clean look of this card - featuring the upcoming Sale-a-bration Fruit Salad Designer Series Paper.  You will soon be able to earn this fun pack of paper for FREE with your qualifying orders.  Sale-a-bration is one of my favorite times of the year!  Who doesn't love FREE Stampin' Stuff?! My cards are not "exactly" like hers...
