Meet Lucy

Meet Lucy.
We adopted Lucy in 2003 from the Sterling Animal Shelter in Sterling,Ma as a puppy.   She was named after that fiery red-head we all loved to watch on TV.  With her, I learned about the game of Agility and became an addict.  Lucy and I never did get far in the competitive arena but we did build a foundation for my higher learning.  I love Lucy to bits.
She is "my little red dog" and the sweetest thing on 4 legs.
She loves her humans, and she loves her treats :)  I owe her a lot.

I thought I would start by posting a video of Midge (my Labrador) and I running Agility a few weeks ago.  We absolutely love playing this game together!
We hope you enjoy it.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to my Husband, Justin, our Son-in-Law Chris and all of the Father's out there!  It is a beautiful day here in Massachusetts and we are headed to Justin's soon!  Hope you are all having a fantastic day!

Spotlight on: retired 2010-2011 In Colors

When my "new to me" retired stamp set Season of Friendship arrived in the mail, I couldn't wait to ink up the tree!  I decided to make my own spin on a card I noticed on Splitcoaststampers.  I chose to spotlight the retiring In-Colors since I really hadn't use them much during their term.

Happy Father's Day Roger

When my new stamp set, Uncharted Territory, arrived, I couldn't wait to use it!  I decided to make Roger a Father's Day card - from the Girls - with it.  I was inspired by a card I saw on Ann Schach's blog Here .  It is not exactly like hers but influenced by it.  I don't know why it took me so long to buy this set and I'm so sad it retired with the old Stampin' Up catalog!
I hope Roger loves this card as much as I do!

Supplies (all Stampin' UP):
Stamps: Uncharted Territory, Tiny Tags,So Many Sayings
CS: Early Espresso, Marina Mist,Cajun Craze
Ink: Black Sazon, Marina Mist, Cajun Craze, Basic Grey, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight
Misc: Watercolor pen, Early Espresso Baker's Twine, Jewelry Tag Punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch,  Snow Burst EF, Nautical Expedition DP

For Father's Day

I wanted to make a Father's Day card for Justin that was especially for him.  When my SU Demonstrator, Tami White, posted a Beer Mug card tutorial on her website Here, I knew that was what I wanted to make for Justin.  It was super fun to make.  I had to improvise in a few areas - due to lack of the punches and stamp set she used - but Justin will never know :)
