Unfortunate News Regarding the Magnetic Platform for the Bigshot:

This just in from Stampin' Up! :

MAGNETIC PLATFORM UNAVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

July 15, 2013

Due to an unfortunate backorder situation, the Big Shot Magnetic Platform (item 130658) will be temporarily turned off Thursday, July 18, at 12:01 AM (MT). This means that you won't be able to buy it until further notice.

While we're thrilled to be offering a product that you clearly like, we regret not being able to anticipate just how much you would like it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Here are answers to some of the questions you might have:

Why are you doing this?We went through what we thought would be a 13-week supply of the Magnetic Platform in just three weeks, and rather than continuing the backorder situation for you and your customers, we believe it's best to make it unavailable for purchase until we can replenish our inventory. Our supplier is working at capacity to meet our demand, and we will continue working closely with them to get the situation addressed as quickly as possible.

When will the Magnetic Platform be available?
We expect that it will be available early fall.

What if I already ordered it when it was on backorder?
We'll fill all closed backorders as we get more Magnetic Platforms in. We are receiving periodic shipments from our vendor and as soon as they come in we'll fulfill orders in the approximate order they were received. 

Paper Flower -- Sara Douglass

Today, I would like to share with your this video from Stampin' Up! on a hot trend:
a Paper Flowers How-To!

We want to show you how to make this cute Creped Filter Paper flower featured on page 25 of the annual catalog.
1. Using Fun Flowers Bigz L Die, cut Creped Filter Paper (six layers for Tangerine Tango petals, and two layers for Daffodil Delight petals)
2. Load Brayer with ink from ink pad, roll color onto smooth side of creped paper. Repeat this step until desired color saturation is reached. May need to ink both sides of filter paper.
3. Layer flowers in staggered order.
4. Attach together with stapler or pierce center and use a brad.
5. Scrunch flowers from top down to get desired look.
6. Punch 3/4" circle from Old Olive Cardstock. Pierce center.
7. Prepare floral wire and thread through Old Olive Circle.
8. Attach to back of flower using hot glue.

Well, my blog has been really neglected, my newsletter is late 

and I have a box of new ink pads, new stamps to mount & card stock to put away... 

and I just don't know when I will get to it :(

SHE is the reason!

Introducing: Blackfoot's Thyme to Shyne "Rayven"

Rayven joined our Family on July 1st.  

To say I'm exhausted is a complete understatement!

It's all good though!  

She is so SMART and easy to train!

She started to scratch the door, to go outside and potty, after being here 2 days!

She is already picking up hand signals for "Sit" and "Down" - and we barely started training!

She loves to retrieve, play ball, tug, and play in general.

Anything to "do something" with us!

Her "big sisters" are beginning to get used to her being here 

and have begun to initiate some play with her.

I just don't have the energy to do anything!
