Showering Petals of Good Thoughts Your Way

Hello!

Today's post is going to have to be a short one.

I whipped up this card this morning and I want to share it with you.

I have had the Petite Petals stamp set, and it's coordinating punch,

on my work table for over a week!

I have wanted to play with it so badly!

Today I did!

For Father's Day Tool Box

Today's card is headed to a special guy.

For stamp sets, I have combined "an oldie but goodie",

 a "tried and true", and a "new and modern".

My inspiration came from the Challenge over at the

Cas-ual Fridays Blog.

The "CATCH"?

 Create a Guy card with the following catch...you can't use kraft as a color at all, AND you have to include some sort of ribbon.

Hmmm....

It took some thinking but, there's my card.

The ribbon was the tough part on this particular card.

But, I pulled something together that I think looks pretty sharp!

I hope you have enjoyed today's card.

Happy Birthday Firecracker Baby!

Two cards from today!  Wow!

I wanted to make a birthday card, 

for my Sister, using the (sadly retired) 

Happy Congratulations stamp set.

This is another set that I was (incredibly) surprised 

was not carried over into our new annual catalog!  

I LOVE this stamp set!

Luckily, it is still available

as a Digital Download!

My Sister was born on the 4th of July 

so a Red/White/Blue theme is expected ;)

The Paper Players Challenge this week is to use

 Red/White/Blue in your project!  Ha!  No brainer!

The Sketch Challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches

looked like a fun one to use for her card.

I hope she likes it.

I think it came out quite nice... if I may say so ;)
