Gold Star Graduation Card With Front Flap Gift Card Holder

Hello My Stampin' Friends,

It's Graduation Season and I have loads of inspiration for you

over in my Project Gallery.

Be sure to visit my Website Frequently so you stay up to date on my projects.

I share load of great projects there - as well as on my Pinterest Boards and my Facebook Page & Group.  You can follow those through the links at the bottom of this post.

Here is my most recent Graduation project share:

I created my Graduation Cap by cutting a pair of layering Squares, with my paper trimmer, using an embossing folder to emboss the top layer, then adhering them together.  The Tassel was cut with the Birthday Celebrations Die and added to the cap with a punched circle and glue dots.
So Easy!!!  You can use any fun embossing folder.  I kept mine simple as the star pattern was so busy.  If you use a simpler pattern, or a plain card front, you can have fun and really dress up the Cap.  Just as the Graduates tend to do!

This card contains a Gift Card/Cash Pocket.
You can actually create the pocket or not.
The choice is yours.

All you need to do is create a traditional card, score the front flap toward the right edge - going as far in as you wish your pocket to be - fold the new flap in, then add tear tape to the top and bottom edges and seal closed. Now, you have a pocket!  Easy peasy!

The right edge of the inside flap will be seen when the card is closed so, be sure to dress it up.  You can add coordinating DSP to the pocket as well, as I show here in my card, if you wish.  If you are not using it as a pocket, seal it completely and you can leave it blank so as not to draw attention to it.

I have provided a complete project supply list,
for this card, below.
It includes links to each currently available item in my Online Store.
Note that I have used some stamps and paper from my stash so I have shared an alternate stamp set that will be a perfect replacement for the ones I've used.

Easter Blessings For Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello My Stampin' Friends,

Welcome to our Stamping With Friends Blog Hop!

For my project, I have created a Fun Fold with the Everyday Arches Dies.

I admit, I found this card online and CASE'd it the first chance I had.

I do not remember who the original creator was so, if you know,

please share.  I'd love to give credit where credit is due!

I used the Everyday Arches to create a window in the card front and then inserted a card that was created with the same size Arch die.

The Arch-shaped card is attached to the inside of the main card

so that it can "open" through the window.

You can do this with any shape you have in your collection.

But I'm addicted to these arches.

I did not have the Faith Collection Bundle at the time I created this card
( I do now though! )
so I created my cross with strips of embossed Basic White cardstock and embossed them with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder - which is 50% Off right now in my Online Store!

I really like the subtle glow that blending some Lemon Lolly ink behind the Cross created.

What do you think?
Is this a card you'd like to try?

You can order your supplies by clicking either of the
project photos or go to my Project Gallery.

I now invite you to hop along to see all of the other projects we have to share with you:

Welcome To Our March Team Blog Hop

Hello My Stampin' Friends,

Welcome to our Team Easter Blog Hop!

My card features my (currently, lol) Favorite DSP:

the Floral Delight 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.

I have loved this paper since Pre-Order.

It is the perfect Spring paper.

Don't you think?

I chose this gorgeous pattern

that reminds me of the Forsythia bushes

we had in our yard at my childhood home.

I loved those bushes when they bloomed.

So pretty!

It also resembles the Carolina Jessamine

that we have growing here in South Carolina.

I adhered a piece of the DSP to a Lemon Lolly card base.
I had an Everyday Arches panel, also in Lemon Lolly,
leftover from another project and that launched the idea for my card.

I layered a Basic White arch, cut from the Garden Meadow Dies,
and embossed with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder,
on top of that and added it to the card front with Dimensionals.

I used my paper trimmer to cut woodgrain strips,
and layered them together to form a Cross.
I draped the cross with 1/4" White Ribbon
and added it to the arches with Dimensionals.

My Easter Greeting is from the (retired) Daffodil Daydream stamp set
but I'm sure you have an Easter greeting in your collection.

For my inside panel, and the envelope,
I chose an image from the (retired) Tropical Chic stamp set.
You could easily use the (current) Faith Collection for the same effect.

What do you think?
Is this a card you'd like to try?

You can order all of your supplies by clicking either of the
project photos or go to my Project Gallery.

I now invite you to hop along to see all of the other Easter projects our team has to share with you:

Floral Delight Pop-Up Cross Easter Card

Hello My Stampin' Friends,

today I have an amazing Pop-Up Cross Easter Card for you.

With Easter coming up, I wanted to get started on my cards for our shop.  I had been seeing so many versions of this Pop-Up Cross that I set out to design one that would work for our customers.

I just love how my vision turned out.

I chose to add my Pop-Up Cross to a regular card front

so it will stand up on display.

Would you like a Video or Tutorial?

Leave me a comment so I can see if I should do one for you.

For the card I am sharing with you,

I chose the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper.

The bright colors scream Spring.

My card also fits-in with the current

Tic Tac Toe creative Challenge.

I followed a diagonal line with

Bright Colors, Spring, and a "Free" Block.

I hope they enjoy my card.

You can visit the Challenge here:

I have provided a complete project supply list,
for this card, below.

It includes links to each item and you can print it as well.
Please note: The die I used for the Fern is retired but you can easily substitute something from your collection or from my Online Store.
The die I used came from the Tropical Layers Dies and the stamped fern is from the (retired) Tropical Chic stamp set.
