Hurricane Mathew & Cable Knit Embossing Folder

Hello!

Greetings from storm ravaged South Carolina.  I'm working on getting back to blogging now that Hurricane Mathew has left.  If you were not effected by Mathew, you would have no real idea what this storm did... I won't go into detail because it's just too depressing and sad.  I will simply say that our home appears to have survived ok.  We just need to put it back together again after evacuating.   We were extremely lucky!

So, I will get my house back in order and do some stamp therapy.

Today I am going to share a video with you.  This video showcases the new Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder!  I actually received my own folder yesterday.  It sat out the storm at the Myrtle Beach UPS Facility and came through unscathed :)  I am looking forward to playing with it and sharing a lot of fabulous projects with you.  But, for now, I hope you will enjoy this video and the projects they show you.  You can order your very own folder through my Online Store, following the link below.

If you are in one of the areas effected by Mathew, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you!  I hope you, and those you love, came through with minimal damage and loss.  If you have a second, leave me a note to let me know how you are.

May we be stamping together again soon,
Mary

  1. I lived on Dauphin Island, Alabama for many years and went through numerous hurricanes including Ivan and Katrina. I thoroughly understand the stress and uncertainty of evacuations, not knowing if your home would be there when you returned. You are correct when you say people cannot understand until they have been through it. During the summer of Katrina I boarded up and evacuated 6 times in 3 months. It definitely takes a toll on you emotionally as well as physically. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all who were affected by hurricane Matthew.

  3. Hello from Florence, SC. There are so many trees down, high water, roads closed and so many still without power. Our family is blessed to have our power back on. We have a gas water heater so showers could be taken in daylight hours. So much love and care poured out in our community. What a joy to see businesses opening up to give out coffee and let people charge their cell phones (Lowes, for one). Our road crews and Linemen working horrendous hours in dangerous conditions to try to get the power back on. Our police, fire and rescue, and medical workers leaving their own families to help others in need. God bless you all and keep you safe.
