I am ashamed to admit that I am a Paper Pumpkin hoarder. I get my kit, I Oooh and Ahhh over it and then, I close the box and put it away.
Why?
Because, once I use the bits and pieces, they are gone.
Because someone may come up with a project I like better than what I come up with and then I won't be able to make it!
Why is it so hard to just use it and let it go? It's been the same with me and DSP. Until I discovered #loveitchopit! So, I have stacks of Paper Pumpkin kits that I need to get to "chopping"! Oooh, maybe call it "Pumpkin Carving"... What do you think?
So, I've had the February kit sitting on my table for weeks. Just couldn't get to creating... waiting for that special project to jump out at me and inspire me. And it happened!!! I was on our Demonstrator Group page and someone posted a card using DSP cut with the Puzzle Pieces Thinlits. A light flashed in my head and dropped everything to grab my Paper Pumpkin.
After much debating on colors and layout, this is my final project. At first, I only had the "to pieces" piece on there - to fill the gap in the puzzle. But I wasn't sure it looked right... I added the "love you" piece after. But now my brain is giving me fits because there's an "extra" piece, LOL. I just can't win! Haha. The things I can't let go crack me up sometimes. I may just make a second version with TWO missing pieces - just to get it out of my head! If you can't laugh at yourself...
So, I hope you enjoy my card. Or get a chuckle out of my head games.
LOL.
