Simply Citrus For Sunday Stamps

Hello!
If you live in the U.S., I  hope you enjoyed a wonderful Independence Day Weekend!

We spent time at our farm, mowing, and letting "the twins" run.  We even drove the Tiny House out there to get her engine running.  Because of Covid, we haven't been able to take any trips in her.  She looks so little next the Big House, LOL.

Anyway, It was super, super hot so there wasn't as much running as the dogs would have liked.  And there wasn't as much mowing as I would have liked ;)  But, we got out and enjoyed the open space and accomplished quite a lot.
Today, I'm back to playing in my Craft Room!
Which brings me to my card!

I had the chance to open up my Simply Citrus Card Kit to create a card to participate in fellow Demo, Kylie Bertucci's, International Blog Projects "Hop" yesterday.  If you haven't already, pop on over and Vote for my card.  I need to be in the Top 10 to be invited to participate in the Winners Hop. 

I knew I was going to Love this kit the moment I saw it!  But it arrived in my Annual Catalog Pre-Order - along with so many other new goodies - and it ended up put aside.  Once I cracked it open though, my jaw hit the floor when I got to see exactly how much actually comes in this kit!  It's Amazing!

When I caught the Sketch over at Sunday Stamps, I knew this kit was PERFECT for the current sketch! 

When I read they were doing a Design Team Call, I decided to throw my hat into the ring.  I know the competition will be steep but, you can't be chosen if you don't enter, right?

Do you see how that Citrus panel is just perfect for the sketch?  It came printed like that - straight from the kit!  I just added some Wink of Stella to the Fruits to give it a little extra Somethin'-Somethin'.  It's really hard to photograph but, trust me, it's really pretty.  It reminds me of those candied fruits...
