Are you a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber? If you are, you know the amazing value of this month's Hello Pumpkin kit! I was blown away by how many elements there were in this one box. I mean, seriously, wasn't there a lot in this kit? I spent some time sorting all of the die-cuts into individual baggies so I could lay them all out, see what I had, and start to create my projects.
The first thing I created was one of the intended Cracker Boxes. Aren't they so stinking cute! I will have to make a point of sending some of these to the Grandkids. So cute and fun. I also have a couple of little boys that I've been sending little cards and gifts to. Their Mom is a friend of mine and, because we live 900 miles apart, I've never met her boys in person. But, because of her shares on Facebook, I have just fallen in love with them. I love hearing how much they have loved a card or little gift I've sent them. I love that I can brighten their day and make them feel special :)
My second project was a shaker card. I CASE'd the layout but everything else is "mine". I was inspired by the sentiment "Eat Something Sweet" from the September 2014 Paper Pumpkin Kit. I can't believe that was 6 years ago! Eek! Time flies! My card grew from there. I knew I was making a Shaker Card so I filled my shaker with "candies" from the (retired) Jar of Sweets Framelits and How Sweet It Is DSP. Do you remember those? So cute! If you Don't own those, don't despair, get creative!
Take your card in a different direction. Perhaps some spooky spiders & cobwebs or use the Witches Hats and the Black Cats... or, swap the Black Glimmer Paper for card stock or foil and use pumpkins, leaves, and fall flowers. The possibilities are endless!
