Do you every purchase a stamp set, die, pack of pretty paper because maybe you loved it, loved what someone else made with it, and just had to have it? Only to have it sit, neglected?
I can't tell you how often this happens to me.
And how sad it makes me when it "retires" and I never used it.
I know, I can still use it on my personal cards and creations.
But I usually don't because I get caught up in the next best thing.
Welcome to "Why'd I Buy That"!
A new series where I will pull a poor,
neglected item from my shelves and use it!
Because maybe you have the exact same thing, or something similar, sitting on your own shelves.
If you have a Special Request, for something you would like me
to inspire you with, let me know in the comments below!
Today, I was inspired to pull the Ornamental Envelopes stamp set
off of my shelf and pair it with Celebration Tidings.
I caught the card my friend Pam made on was immediately inspired.
I CASE'd her card and then created another one using totally different DSP ( that I had not touched this year) and totally different colors
(stop by tomorrow to see that one).
I had ordered this bundle mainly for the envelope elements.
But I just love these baubles
and how quickly they help you create a beautiful card!
If you would like to copy this card,
I have the full supply list for you below.
Many of the supplies are On Sale - and retiring.
You could pick them up for a steal
and start creating your cards for next year ;)
Because, well, that is my plan... one I hope I stick to!
