Hurricane Ian - September 30, 2022

After the hurricane, the High Tide and Storm Surge brought water rushing in! The Heron, Egrets, & Stork showed up for a feast. I even saw a Rabbit swimming in the flood waters!

The water reached the foundation on one side of our house and flooded the driveway as well as a section of the front yard. I admit that I was a tad nervous.

We finally relaxed when the tide let out and the wind shifted. The water started to drain out of our yards and there was even a stunning rainbow to rejoice in.
