Today, I am sharing a card I created with the
Hello Spring Paper Pumpkin Kit.
My layout is pretty much the same as the Kit intended. However, I cut down one of the card bases and adhered it to an Old Olive Card base. I love that Paper Pumpkin Kits now come with cards that are printed on the front and the back but, sometimes the designs are too pretty to be hidden on the back.
I took the Old Olive Herb Printed card base and cut it down to (2) 4" x 5-1/4" panels. This left me with some 1/4" strips - never throw those away, they make great elements to add to the inside of your cards.
I cut the Pink sentiment layer in half so I would have labels for both of my alternates. I used the "Hello Friend", from the Charming Duck Pond stamp set, to fit the smaller label. I used the Petunia Pop ink spot, from the kit, but you can order this color in a full size ink pad in my Store.
I added Wink Of Stella to the Herbs as it added a subtle shimmer to step up the card a notch. I had some (retired) Butterflies in my stash so I sprinkled some of those on as well. You could easily substitute the Brass Butterflies. I will use those on my next alternate to show you how pretty they are.
I added the 1/4" strip to the left side and stamped the Chives, from the stamp set in the kit, in the lower right corner.
I repeated the stamping on the front of the envelope as well. I love coordinating my envelope with my cards. It adds such a special touch.
