Card: SSIC #55 Birthday Text

Hello!

I found this stamp set on Clearance at a box store and had to have it.

My Grand-kids all have "devices" so I know they will a get a kick out of cards I make for them with it.  How perfect for sending them little notes, Birthday cards, etc.

Super Simple Sunday Card:Timeless Hello My Friend

Hello!

Today's Super Simple Sunday card is a re-make of my Stamp Therapy card (here) from last week. 

I've kept the original layout, and black & White color scheme, but I've used a different Washi Tape and simplified my stamping by using a stamp that does not require perfect alignment with the Stamp-a-majig.  





Today's stamp comes from the Timeless Textures stamp set, Occasions Catalog pg 29.  I used the same sentiment stamp from Hello (a Sale-a-bration Limited Time stamp set ). 

And, that little flower... I hope you like it!
Because it was not in the original plan!
It's only there because it's covering an "oops"!
I caught an edge :(
I couldn't just leave it there... calling attention to itself!

This card is now dressed and ready for any occasion!
And, it's super simple to stamp a stack of :)

Stamp It Valentine's Blog Hop!

Hello!

Welcome to our Team Stamp It Valenine's Blog Hop!

I am really looking forward to seeing what our team has created and I am sure you are too!  If you are arriving from Oksana's blog, Welcome!

My project is actually a CASE of one of my own designs.

I developed a card for a recent design challenge ( see that post here ) and it blew me away!

I got so excited about it, that I wanted to make more :)
I'm sure you know how that goes...

So, I decided to give it a go in the more traditional colors of Real Red and Whisper White.



I like it... I think I like my original Blushing Bride/Rose Red/Whisper White design better though... but shhhh, don't tell Real Red... I don't want to hurt it's feelings.

Which do you prefer?  The Blushing Bride or Real Red?
Maybe I should try other color combinations with Silver or Gold Glimmer Paper?  
Or perhaps the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper?
