Thankful For Sheltering Woodlands

I'm loving all of the great projects you can create with the
Woodland Embossing Folder

This card is my version of one that was posted in one of my groups by Nancy Amato.  I loved her idea of pairing the Leaves image from Sheltering Tree with this folder.

Being a "Fall Girl", I had to stop everything and create one for myself.  I added the die-cut leaves from the Leaflets Framelits dies.  My sentiment is from the September Paper Pumpkin kit.

I can't wait to show this off at class tomorrow!
I am sure they will want to create it at our next gathering
or invite their friends over for a workshop!

If you would like to create one for yourself,
I have my printable supply list for you below!

Happy Stamping!

  1. can you please tell me how this was done? Did you stamp the leaves before or after embossing? Did you brayer, or sponge, white over the trees afterward? Or how did you keep the leaves from being stamped onto the trees? I've been looking at this for a couple of days and looked for a you tube video on it but no luck. I'm a SU demo, but am down to only a few customers and only one workshop per quarter as I don't have a lot of time to spend on this "hobby", so I also don't get a ton of time to follow everything on the internet. Thought it couldn't hurt to ask if you could share the "secret" to this card because I love it SO MUCh - I'm also a girl who LOVES fall!!! Thank your for considering to help me out! Happy stamping!! My email is yooperbrat@yahoo.com if you care to respond.
