Product Spotlight Projects: Scenic Pumpkin Patch

Hello my Stampin' Friends,  Welcome to this week's Product Spotlight: Scenic Pumpkin Patch

All week, on my Socials, I have been sharing projects I have created with the Scenic Pumpkin Patch stamp set and the So Sincere greeting set. If you are not following me, you can visit my pages and check out the projects. All of the links are at the bottom of this post.

I'd like to share my latest card with you here.  

For this card, I used my blending brushes to create a sky and some ground for my pumpkins to grow on. The top layer is cut from the Grove Dies. I love the way it looks as though you are on the edge of a woodlands overlooking the Pumpkin Patch. I added a fence - die cut from the Garden Meadows Dies - to break-up all of the green. I hope you enjoy this card!

Here's To You Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop

Hello! 

Welcome to our Monthly Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop.  Our projects are directly from this month's Paper Pumpkin Kit or inspired by it.

My project is both.

Every month, I create alternate projects to show subscribers how the different elements from the kit can be combined with our other products to create unique and gorgeous cards etc.  

This was my result from using the stencils, a free bonus gift included with this month's kit, and die-cut trees from the kit with (retiring) Pretty Peacock Card Stock and the gorgeous Old Olive/Pretty Peacock reversible ribbon from the Annual Catalog.

I must admit, I was intimidated by the stencils.  I am a self-proclaimed Perfectionist and I didn't think I could do them justice.  But, I admit that I am pretty tickled by my card.  Not half bad if I may say so myself. 

Let that be a lesson for you... if you are intimidated by something, the best way to handle it is to just jump in and try it.  You just may surprise yourself!

I hope you enjoy my project and that I inspire you to grab any stencils you may have and give them a go.  Try something new and let your imagination soar!

Mountain Air Masculine Card

Hello!
This week has flown by!  I didn't mean for almost a full week to go by without a post... My husband flew home on Monday and I got stung by something right before leaving to pick him up and I had an allergic reaction and ended up at Urgent Care.  It's just been one of those weeks! 

Anyway, today I'm sharing a card I created for Father's Day.

Yes, I know, that has gone by.

But, better late than never and it can easily become a card for another occasion!

Just stamp a different sentiment and you are good to go.

I CASE'd this from somewhere online and it stuck in my head).  If you recognize it, let me know.  

I adjusted my version just a bit.  The original had the DSP torn down the edge.  I don't know why, but I struggle with tearing!  I'm a perfectionist and "tearing" is not perfect.  LOL. I actually trashed a few pieces of Night of Navy because I didn't like my tearing.  Silly Mary!

You can see how I die-cut the panel for the inside with a Stitched Rectangle Die.  I've become addicted to doing this, 

as I think it really adds a nice touch.  I added the stamped trees and birds to tie it to the outside of the card.  

I also stamped trees on the front of my envelope.  

Now everything is coordinated and my heart is happy!

I found the Mountain Air Bundle to be a bit intimidating.  I actually have had it sitting on my shelf for months.  But, once I started playing with it, I discovered I was intimidated for nothing.  It's a great bundle and I am already thinking of a lot more scenes I want to create. 

I actually took this card a step further and made another version. I'll be sharing that with you later.
