I am so excited about the Batter Up Paper Pumpkin Kit 

and the projects I can create for Father's Day this year!

In addition to the elements taken from the kit itself,

I added Basic White Card Stock and Real Red ink 

for stamping my hat, 

and a 1/2" Circle Punch and Real Red Stampin' Write Marker 

for my baseball.  A full supply list is posted for you below. 

I used a Tailored Tag Punch to flag the ends of the Real Red/Bumblebee striped layer - which was included in the kit. 

As always, I stamped coordinating images on the inside

and on the Envelope.

Never mail/give a naked envelope (wink)!

Stampin' Up!'s Hats Off For Disney Dads!

 

Greeting's and Salutations!

Welcome to our team Father's Day Blog Hop!

My card is for all of the Disney-Loving Dads out there.

You know the ones... There may just be one sitting beside you right now.

My Step-Son is one.

Hopefully, he will like this card ;)

He doesn't read my blog so I think I'm safe sharing it here.

Shhhhhh.  Don't show him. It'll be our little secret.

I have wanted to make "Mickey Ears" ever since I spotted the Hats Off Bundle in the new Annual Catalog.

It was super easy to do too!

Just cut a couple of circles, from the Layering Circle Dies, put a crease in the bottom with a bone folder, snip, and squeeze to get the ear shapes.  Glue dots hold the ears on to the back of the hat.

I went for a simple red heart on the front of the hat. 

That sweet little stitched heart is from the new Give It A Whirl Dies.  

I bet you overlooked those didn't you?

There are so many goodies in that die set!

Hats Off All Star For Father's Day

Hello!  Welcome to our Crafty Collaborations 

Father's Day Blog Hop!

My card is very clean and simple.  

I have combined Stampin' Up!'s new Hats Off Bundle 

with this month's Paper Pumpkin Kit: 

Batter Up.

For my Home Team logo, I simply did a Google search 

and found a free download.  I printed it out and die-cut it

using my Layering Circles Dies.

The logo download is for personal use only so I won't be selling my cards.  I'll use them for my friends and family who are Boston Blue ;). Once a Bostonian, always a Bostonian :)

Note: Since my post went live, I found out I could still be in violation of Copyright laws sharing my card with the printed logo.  Since that was never my intention, I have had to gray-out the logo.  You'll just have to imagine it. Better safe than sued ;)

Mountain Air Masculine Card

Hello!
This week has flown by!  I didn't mean for almost a full week to go by without a post... My husband flew home on Monday and I got stung by something right before leaving to pick him up and I had an allergic reaction and ended up at Urgent Care.  It's just been one of those weeks! 

Anyway, today I'm sharing a card I created for Father's Day.

Yes, I know, that has gone by.

But, better late than never and it can easily become a card for another occasion!

Just stamp a different sentiment and you are good to go.

I CASE'd this from somewhere online and it stuck in my head).  If you recognize it, let me know.  

I adjusted my version just a bit.  The original had the DSP torn down the edge.  I don't know why, but I struggle with tearing!  I'm a perfectionist and "tearing" is not perfect.  LOL. I actually trashed a few pieces of Night of Navy because I didn't like my tearing.  Silly Mary!

You can see how I die-cut the panel for the inside with a Stitched Rectangle Die.  I've become addicted to doing this, 

as I think it really adds a nice touch.  I added the stamped trees and birds to tie it to the outside of the card.  

I also stamped trees on the front of my envelope.  

Now everything is coordinated and my heart is happy!

I found the Mountain Air Bundle to be a bit intimidating.  I actually have had it sitting on my shelf for months.  But, once I started playing with it, I discovered I was intimidated for nothing.  It's a great bundle and I am already thinking of a lot more scenes I want to create. 

I actually took this card a step further and made another version. I'll be sharing that with you later.
