Moose In The Pines Birthday For Masculine Monday

 

Today I am playing with the Retiring Merry Moose stamp set 

and coordinating Moose Punch.

I love this Moose for Masculine Cards.  

Perhaps because of my New England roots and love of Maine - 

where Moose are spotted quite regularly in the back woods.

I've never actually seen a Moose in person, have you?

Maybe I will someday.  

For now though, I can enjoy seeing them in my projects :)

This fold is interesting because the back side of the card is where you write your message.

It's Christmas In July For The Team Hop

Hello!

My name is Mary Bush and I would like to welcome you to my blog!  Today, I am hopping along with my Team as we celebrate Christmas In July!  

Are you excited about the new (Holiday) Mini Catalog?  There are some fabulous new products coming out in it!  This year, I am finding myself drawn to "Cute".  Like the Freezin' Fun Bundle and the Warm & Toasty stamp set.  

What I was super excited about was the Stitched Landscape Die in the Freezin' friends Dies!  I can't wait to come up with all sorts of landscape configurations with this die.  

For this card, I created a scene with the cute Reindeer from Warm & Toasty.  I chose to color my images with my Stampin' Blends.  I struggle with coloring with these.  I'm too much of a perfectionist.  But I think it came out OK.  

I just love the new Plaid Tidings DSP too!  Oh My Gosh!  I am going to stock up and hoard this!!!  You are going to flip over all of the great colors/patterns in this pack!

Thinking Of You Wrapped In Buffalo Plaid

As with this morning's card, today's card was inspired by a project that is showcased in the new catalog - coming your way soon.   
For this card, I've paired Black Buffalo Check on Real Red card stock and added similar Garden Green Pine Sprigs, and my beloved Pine Cones, from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.  I just love how cozy these cards make me feel.

Because I had the set out from creating my earlier card, I stamped the tree images, from Merry Moose, on my envelope and the inside liner for my card.  The sizes of the images are perfect for this!  And, Yay!  Merry Moose and the Moose Punch are returning!  Individually and as a Bundle!  Demonstrators can pre-order this week!!!  I'm so excited to welcome them back!

Be A Moose: Be Strong, Be Happy, Be You Masculine Card

Hello!
It looks like I'm focusing on Masculine Cards this week... But, I have to admit, this card took on a life of it's own and is not as I had originally envisioned.  LOL.  Oh well, those things happen...

I do like it though, what do you think?

Today's card was actually inspired by a project that is showcased in the new catalog.   I paired Black Buffalo Check on Cherry Cobbler card stock and added Garden Green sprigs.  I had a tough time with layering all of these pieces.  I didn't want it to look overdone but I wanted all of the bits and pieces too.  I'm pretty pleased with the result.
