Thoughts Of Sympathy For A Friend Card


Good Afternoon!
I have a couple of shares for you today.

 Now, on to my Sympathy card.  These are my least favorite to make but, I need to reach out to a friend who is in my thoughts.  I remember how much it meant to me when I received cards from friends when I lost my Mom.  We hit the 9 month anniversary the other day... I still have moments when I just collapse, sobbing, and just can't believe she is really gone.  I hope it helps my friend to know she is cared about and in my thoughts.

Sometimes it can be hard to get started when a card means so much...
I found help in some current Challenges.  I had forgotten how much inspiration I could find in them.

 The first was a Color Challenge over at The Paper Players. At first, my thoughts went to Christmas but I forced myself to think in other directions, which led me to my Sympathy Card.

Zany Zebras For The Paper Players

I have 2 projects to share with you today.
They happen to coincide with the latest Paper Players Challenge.  I haven't participated in a Challenge in a while.  
I need to do this more!
Both feature the Zany Zebras stamp set.

I had this card envisioned the moment I caught sight of the Zany Zebras set.  How Adorable are these Zebras?!  And these cards are so easy to create.  Simply stamp your Zebras in Memento Black and color their stripes with Watercolor Pencils.  I snipped out the Zebra for my Paper Pumpkin alternate card but the 3 running across my next card are created directly on the card itself.  It's that easy! 

My second card is CASE'd from the Beginner Brochure
This is the card that convinced me that I had to order this set in my very first order.  I just love it!
