Thinking Of You Wrapped In Buffalo Plaid

As with this morning's card, today's card was inspired by a project that is showcased in the new catalog - coming your way soon.
For this card, I've paired Black Buffalo Check on Real Red card stock and added similar Garden Green Pine Sprigs, and my beloved Pine Cones, from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.  I just love how cozy these cards make me feel.

Because I had the set out from creating my earlier card, I stamped the tree images, from Merry Moose, on my envelope and the inside liner for my card.  The sizes of the images are perfect for this!  And, Yay!  Merry Moose and the Moose Punch are returning!  Individually and as a Bundle!  Demonstrators can pre-order this week!!!  I'm so excited to welcome them back!

I have the card's supply list for you below, as well as your quick shopping links.

Be A Moose: Be Strong, Be Happy, Be You Masculine Card

Hello!
It looks like I'm focusing on Masculine Cards this week... But, I have to admit, this card took on a life of it's own and is not as I had originally envisioned.  LOL.  Oh well, those things happen...

I do like it though, what do you think?

I am so excited that this Moose is returning in the upcoming Mini Catalog!
Demonstrators get to place their first pre-orders this week!!!
There are so many wonderful new stuffs coming out for us to play with!  I'm having a hard time narrowing down my list.
The struggle is real ;)

Today's card was actually inspired by a project that is showcased in the new catalog.   I paired Black Buffalo Check on Cherry Cobbler card stock and added Garden Green sprigs.  I had a tough time with layering all of these pieces.  I didn't want it to look overdone but I wanted all of the bits and pieces too.  I'm pretty pleased with the result.

I have the card's supply list for you below, as well as your quick shopping links.
If your wish-list is long...

Set Sail For Summer Blog Hop

Hello!

My name is Mary Bush and I would like to welcome you to my blog!
Today, I am hopping along with my Team as we celebrate Summer!

Are you ready for some Fun in the Sun?
I know I sure am!

Today, i am taking you on an Under The Sea Adventure. Being from New England, and now living by the South Carolina Coast, I think of Whale Watching, Dolphin Cruises, Snorkeling, and all things Ocean!

I fell head over heels for the Whale and these Gorgeous papers in the Whale Of A Time Suite.  If you have not seen these papers in person, you are missing out!  The artwork and colors are just amazing!  I purchased the entire suite and now I'm buying refills for my DSP and Embellishments.  I will be hoarding these papers for sure!
For my project, I created a set of four (4) 3"x3" cards, and coordinating envelopes, to give away as a set.  I just know my friend is going to love these!  3" x 3" cards are such a great way to tuck a note into a bouquet of flowers/potted plant, gift bag, etc.  Perhaps a little note of thanks to a neighbor, postal worker, delivery driver, server who is taking good care of you during this monumental time in our society.
A couple of my little cards have strips of stamped DSP inside and a couple I stamped.  I always tie the inside of my cards to the outside and then stamp a coordinated envelope.  It's these little touches that complete a project.  Don't you agree?

I hope you enjoy my projects!  If you should like to create them for yourself, I have all of the supplies, with links, posted for you below.

Now it's time to hop along and see some more projects from the team!  Be sure to leave comments on our blogs - and use the hashtag #stampitcontest to be entered to win our Prize!
Congratulations to last month's winner!

Mountain Air Masculine Card

Hello!
This week has flown by!  I didn't mean for almost a full week to go by without a post... My husband flew home on Monday and I got stung by something right before leaving to pick him up and I had an allergic reaction and ended up at Urgent Care.  It's just been one of those weeks!

Anyway, today I'm sharing a card I created for Father's Day.
Yes, I know, that has gone by.
But, better late than never and it can easily become a card for another occasion!
Just stamp a different sentiment and you are good to go.

I CASE'd this from somewhere online and it stuck in my head).  If you recognize it, let me know.
I adjusted my version just a bit.  The original had the DSP torn down the edge.  I don't know why, but I struggle with tearing!  I'm a perfectionist and "tearing" is not perfect.  LOL. I actually trashed a few pieces of Night of Navy because I didn't like my tearing.  Silly Mary!

You can see how I die-cut the panel for the inside with a Stitched Rectangle Die.  I've become addicted to doing this,
as I think it really adds a nice touch.  I added the stamped trees and birds to tie it to the outside of the card.
I also stamped trees on the front of my envelope.
Now everything is coordinated and my heart is happy!

I found the Mountain Air Bundle to be a bit intimidating.  I actually have had it sitting on my shelf for months.  But, once I started playing with it, I discovered I was intimidated for nothing.  It's a great bundle and I am already thinking of a lot more scenes I want to create.

I actually took this card a step further and made another version. I'll be sharing that with you later.
